About Us

Meet Dr. Hunter

Dr. Courtney Hunter, OTD, OTR/L, is a dedicated pediatric occupational therapist based in Tucson, AZ. As the founder and owner of Desert Babies Occupational Therapy, LLC, she provides specialized care for children from birth to young adulthood in her intimate clinic setting. Dr. Hunter completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Arizona and earned her doctorate from Northern Arizona University. With six years of experience in pediatric therapy, she has become a passionate advocate for children and their families across southern Arizona.

Her recent journey into motherhood has deepened her commitment to helping children with sensory processing issues, feeding difficulties, visual perception challenges, reflex integration, fine motor skills, and overall developmental needs. Known for her resourceful and creative treatment strategies, Dr. Hunter is dedicated to offering personalized and effective therapy.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, golfing, decorating, crafting, and spending quality time with her family.

Meet Mrs. Eileen

Mrs. Eileen is a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for helping children thrive. A graduate of Pima Medical Institute, Eileen discovered her love for working with kids while serving as a para pro in the Vail School District. This experience ignited her desire to further her education and skills in order to make an even greater impact on the lives of young learners. As a COTA, Eileen utilizes her expertise to support children in developing the skills they need to succeed in their daily activities, fostering their independence and confidence. She is committed to creating a positive and encouraging environment where children can reach their full potential.
