Desert Babies Occupational Therapy, LLC is a family-centered therapy center centrally located in Tucson. We pride ourselves on the excellence of care we provide for our children and families. We are committed to helping your child succeed, and we will be there to support you every step of the way.
We treat children from birth through young adulthood who have developmental, emotional, and physical delays and disorders.
Our approach to occupational therapy is centered on tailoring each session to address the unique developmental and functional needs of every child. Dr. Courtney Hunter, OTD, OTR/L, is a dedicated pediatric occupational therapist based in Tucson, AZ. As the founder and owner of Desert Babies Occupational Therapy, LLC, she provides specialized care for children from birth to young adulthood in her intimate clinic setting. Dr. Hunter completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Arizona and earned her doctorate from Northern Arizona University. With six years of experience in pediatric therapy, she has become a passionate advocate for children and their families across southern Arizona.
Her recent journey into motherhood has deepened her commitment to helping children with sensory processing issues, feeding difficulties, visual perception challenges, reflex integration, fine motor skills, and overall developmental needs. Known for her resourceful and creative treatment strategies, Dr. Hunter is dedicated to offering personalized and effective therapy.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, golfing, decorating, crafting, and spending quality time with her family.
